Every virtual coaching session is different and caters to an individual and their specific goals. It is likely for a coach to discuss the primary issues and concerns in your life during a virtual session. It is common to schedule a series of weekly sessions, where each session lasts around 45 minutes. Coaching can be short-term, focusing on a specific issues, or longer-term, addressing more complex issues or ongoing personal growth. There may be times when you are asked to take certain actions outside of the coaching sessions, such as reading a relevant book or keeping records to track certain behaviors. It is important to process what has been discussed and integrate it into your life between sessions. For coaching to be most effective you must be an active participant, both during and between sessions. People seeking coaching are willing to take responsibility for their actions, work towards self-change and create greater awareness in their lives. Here are some things you can expect out of coaching:
- Real strategies for enacting positive change
- Self-compassion, respect and understanding
- Perspectives to illuminate negative patterns & feelings
- Effective and proven techniques along with practical guidance
- accountability to accomplish certain goals or change behaviors.
You will be sent a safe and secure link to your preferred email for your coaching session. You and your coach will meet for 45 minutes in this virtual space to discuss whatever you need. Be open and embrace the experience!
